Press Releases

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts released a statement that Lawrence M. Nagle Sr., 56, of Lynn, has pleaded guilty to counterfeit pill trafficking in association with a drug trafficking organization.

Nagle pleaded guilty to both conspiring to distribute and possession with the intent of distributing counterfeit prescription pills.

As part of the conspiracy, Nagle kept counterfeit oxycodone pills containing fentanyl and counterfeit Adderall pills containing methamphetamine in his apartment.

The statement then explained that there had been a prior search of Nagle’s apartment in October 2022, when fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, and three loaded firearms were discovered and confiscated.

Acting United States Attorney Joshua S. Levy, Drug Enforcement Administration New England Division Special Agent in Charge Brian D. Doyle, and Massachusetts State Police interim Col. John E. Mawn Jr announced the plea. They added that the Beverly, Everett, Peabody, Revere, Salem, Saugus, and Swampscott police departments provided assistance as well.
